As captain of the six-time-champion Rancho Carne Toros she ran the deck the whole sport wanted to beat... until the 2000 ESPN Nationals exposed that her signature routines had been lifted, count for count, from the East Compton Clovers. The Toros took silver; Big Red took the fall. What came next is the redemption arc nobody saw coming: two decades turning herself into the real thing — an ORIGINAL choreographer, a head coach, and a competition-mix producer — putting her name on routines that are unmistakably, provably her own. In 2024 she closed the loop and choreographed an original for the very program she once robbed.
