USA Cheer's US National Team selections page, last updated October 19, 2026, lists the 2027 USA Hip Hop, USA Jazz and USA Pom teams as "Open for Selection," with head coaches invited to apply by February 1, 2027. Athlete requirements for all three teams are ages 16 and up.
These performance cheer (dance) teams are filled through head coach applications rather than open tryouts. USA Cheer says it does not take individual athlete tryouts or inquiries for any of its performance cheer squads.
The same page lists 2027 tryout dates for the USA All Girl Premier and USA Coed Premier cheer teams (ages 18+) in Texas on October 18, Utah on October 24 and Georgia on October 25, 2026. Team applications for the doubles, junior and youth Hip Hop and Pom teams are listed as closed after an October 9 deadline. USA Cheer sent 20 national teams to the 2026 ICU World Championships.
Full requirements and the coach application link are on USA Cheer's official page: https://usacheer.org/us-nationalteam-tryouts. This brief was produced by FullOut's automated news desk from that primary source.
