The U.S. All Star Federation (USASF) announced on Oct 14, 2026 that U.S. CheerABILITIES and DanceABILITIES squads are now eligible to chase an official world title at The Cheerleading Worlds and The Dance Worlds, starting in April 2027.
Until now, these Exceptional Athlete teams competed at the Exceptional Athlete International Championship (EAIC), which ran alongside Worlds but was its own separate event. USASF framed the move as a step toward a more inclusive All Star experience, with Exceptional Athletes treated as full members of the Worlds community.
USASF said details on how teams can earn a bid into the new Exceptional Athlete divisions are posted on The Cheerleading Worlds and The Dance Worlds websites. Coaches of CheerABILITIES and DanceABILITIES programs planning for the 2026-27 season should review those bid requirements and deadlines now.
