One number, and no way to tell which section moved it
An 88.4 is a sum. Stunts, pyramids, tosses, tumbling, jumps and dance all sit inside it, along with any deductions, and none of that survives into a results list.
So the conversation on the bus home is guesswork, and the sheet that would settle it gets handed over once and never looked at again.
Coaches say it plainly: they want to know who had the best running tumbling, not only who had the best total.
